Released yesterday on May 21st, 2021, Colton Cox’s latest single “Stuck” has instantly proved to be a hit. Thankfully for us, we got the chance to sit with the artist to talk all about! Watch our full interview below.

After playing in the Wichita, Kansas music scene for 6 years, Colton Cox made the bold decision to branch out on his own for a solo stint. Gaining the experience of releasing music and records with his previous band, the transition wasn’t too difficult. On his latest single “Stuck” he’s encompassed so many wonderful sounds that have made for the perfect lead single off his upcoming record, Internal Combustion

Now while we would obviously love for you to take the time to watch our interview with the artist, the real priorities should lie in actually listening to his music. “Stuck” instantly took us by hold from the opening notes and didn’t let go until it’s close. Colton’s music is something that quickly resonated with us and has us beyond excited to listen to the full project once it sees its release this coming July.

A little more on the background of Colton though, like all of us, had a fairly tough 2020. Instead of wallowing in his sadness like so many did, he decided to up the determination and throw himself completely into music. After live streaming 12 hour long marathon songwriting sessions, figuring out the not so glamorous world of virtual performances, and learning within, he’s made himself ready for what is 100% going to be a fruitful 2021.

As he shares each subsequent single, the hard work is able to be audibly heard. There’s so much passion infused in every song that gets released, it’s just inching toward that cohesive record that’s geared up for July. We’re interested in hearing what other greatness he crafts up in the meantime, but for now, we’ll endlessly be spinning “Stuck” as often as possible.

With that being said, do yourselves a favor and listen, watch our interview, but most importantly follow along for his future releases. You can do so by clicking the links below. Enjoy!
