As if Colton Cox’s single “Stuck” wasn’t enough, the debut EP from one of our favorite emerging rockers has arrived! Watch our full interview with the artist below where we break down his latest, Internal Combustion.

For those somehow out of the loop, Colton Cox is putting together some of the grooviest, most soulful blended rock and roll of today. After speaking with him in-depth about his single stuck in our last interview, Colton joined us once again to speak all about his debut EP, Internal Combustion. To no surprise in the slightest, the record has surpassed all our expectations and we sincerely can’t wait for you to check it out.

Just like last time, we would overwhelmingly love for you to check out our discussion with Colton as it provided the perfect insight to the record that we’re holding near and dear, however the objective is to get your ears on the album. Blending up glimmers of psychedelic rock, funk, and alternative R&B, Colton Cox has gone above and beyond on this debut. Jam packed with memorable guitar solos, innovative bass lines, and his vocals that ultimately seal the deal, this is the perfect base to jump off of as he continues to work on his next project.

We mentioned before how badly we needed to see this live and if there were plans to get out there and play, but thankfully since then Colton’s got on the road and gotten to do the one thing most music listeners miss the most, witness live music. It’s difficult to imagine how amazing hearing this set would be, which is why it’s definitely a priority to have that happen hopefully within the next year or so.

Picking out a favorite track would be an impossible task, which is why we’ll point you in the direction of starting with “Beautiful Lie” and letting it run through until you finish on “One In A Million”. It’s the type of listen that’s cohesive and deserves your full 23 minutes of attention. To be totally honest though, once you start, you’re not going to want to skip around. There’s no doubts Internal Combustion will have you hooked instantly.

Once again, we’ve included all the important links below in order to listen and keep up with everything Colton Cox, we know we will be! Enjoy the record.
