Letting loose and delivering a raw-sounding single titled “LOST$FOUND”, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Chris Holly all about his latest song. Please check out our full interview below.

For those somehow out of the loop on Chris Holly, he’s a South Carolina-based indie rock artist who’s been involved in the music scene for 30+ years at this point. Having shared the stage with legends like Pantera and Slayer, he now manages his own production studio and is actively working within his local scene. As much as he helps others, that surely hasn’t stopped him from creating more and more within his own catalog. Serving up another one called “LOST$FOUND”, it was an honor to get to pick Chris’ brain during our interview.

Now whether you’re dating in the present day or have experienced this phenomenon in the past, “ghosting” is still prevalent and it hurts just as much every time. Dissecting the terrible experience through raw lyricism and punk-driven instrumentation, Chris Holly’s “LOST$FOUND” dares to bring this topic to the forefront in a way that’s ultimately relatable for all who have dealt with it. While this will probably never go away unfortunately, we do commend the artist on working through the experience by creating a piece of art in which he details its absurdity. We spoke in-depth about it all, but it’s just a small slice of the many topics we covered throughout our discussion.

Having access to his own studio has resulted in the artist being able to take his time on his work, in addition to staying consistent in his releases. This is already the second single of the year, and with plenty more on the way, Chris Holly is an artist to keep your eyes on. Furthermore, he’s making his way around the world the rest of this year touring and showing off these songs firsthand. We’re already looking forward to when he makes his way over to Los Angeles, surely we’ll be front and center rocking out.

In the meantime while we wait for a follow up, please do yourselves a favor and check out all of the important links below to listen, follow along, and of course to stay up to date with everything on the way. Enjoy!
