Prepare yourselves for an incredibly colorful and vibrant experience with the fresh release of Charli Haruhi’s debut record, 1st Density. Read on for our full analysis of the album, in addition to a background on this talented artist.

Currently representing the Hampton, Virginia music scene, this singer, songwriter, and producer can honestly do no wrong in our eyes. With the release of her lead single “Blew” to give us a teaser of what was to come, the full album 1st Density surpassed all of our wildest expectations. If you’re a music lover, no matter your favorite genre, we highly recommend you dip your toes into this piece of art immediately.

Coming in at 11 songs, spanning just about 43 minutes in total run time, Charli Haruhi has elegantly touched on so many different genres and made it work extremely well in the process. What we have to mention as we kick off our review is the top to bottom stellar production. We’ll go ahead right now and recommend for all those about to listen, enjoy it with a solid pair of headphones as to not miss out on the atmospheric and vibe-inducing effects. Tracks like “Rain Showers” and “Flow State” amplify even more when you can hear the special artist touches in the background.

So much of what we loved about 1st Density was the variation of instrumentation used, however, the best instrument of all was Charli Haruhi’s vocals. The way that she used them dually to convey the lyrics but also as an instrument themselves was a perfect stylistic choice. Some songs her vocals are up front and some are right in the back of the mix as to complement the instrumentation. It really only added complex layers of beauty throughout our initial listen and we loved every moment.

For a debut record, she’s hit her stride in the best way possible. The base is set for an impressive future and we’d even like to see her bring it in a bit when it comes to overall sound. There’s so many different layers and genres being explored that it’s all over the place in the most chaotic good state possible. There really is not an end to the positives and praise we can give to 1st Density.

Truly, we hope you love this album as much as we did! Get right into it and follow along with Charli Haruhi by checking out the important links below.
