Making an impactful statement with his all new single and video for “The DEVIL”, Chad Wilson has put something simply stellar together. Please read on for a closer look into the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

For those somehow out of the loop on Chad Wilson, he’s no stranger to the music scene in the slightest. Paramount to the Nashville country music scene, part of many musical projects, and winner of prestigious awards, the artist has continued his roll in 2022 with a lyric forward single titled “The DEVIL”. He’s essentially stripped back his signature grand sound in order to convey an important message and the end result was nothing short of marvelous. Of course we’re recommending everyone out there give this a listen as soon as you can.

On the background of the song itself, the lyricism breaks down and puts out a message about the “importance of suicide prevention”, coinciding with its release during Suicide Awareness Month. While the words themselves are descriptive and really provide a look into the cause, Chad and company came together to create a visual component in which the music video acts as a short film. Combining expert cinematography and a play by play as to what’s going on, it’s truly one of the more beautiful pieces that we’ve seen in quite some time. We’ve included the link below so that you can watch it.

As for the music side of things, Chad Wilson is sincerely at the top of his game in all aspects. The obvious takeaway of our listen was how crisp, clean, and downright powerful his vocals are. They come booming right out of the gate and command the listener from beginning to end, but a reason for that is that the instrumentation is fairly stripped back. In our opinion, we think that was the way to construct this song to fully emphasize the message and get it out there. Any pointless or gimmicky production effects would have otherwise taken away from the serious mood this song evokes. He’s never sounded better and it’s fully a reason we’ll be coming back for more listens in the near future.

For now, please go ahead and listen, watch, follow along, and keep up with all future news and information below.
