Chad Tepper lights it up on all new track, "I Wanna Be Your High" featuring DREAMERS
Review by Austin Sher
Freshly released today on December 11th, 2020, Chad Tepper has shared yet another memorable single, titled “I Wanna Be Your High” featuring DREAMERS. We are loving it! Do yourselves a favor and read along with us for our detailed thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist himself.
It’s official, Chad Tepper can do it all. On top of his already successful career making videos on both YouTube and TikTok, he’s proving single by single that he’s anything but one note. While he’s already got a handful of catchy tunes released under his belt, we’re thinking this may just be the best one yet. With the addition of DREAMERS on the track, this is the type of song that makes you want to get up, dance, and start a party.
In an otherwise depressing year, it’s songs like these that provide the upbeat tones and atmosphere to get out of the moody funk we all might find ourselves in. Specifically on this track, we felt that it was punk at its core, but with a glimmer of pop to grasp the attention of potential radio play and beyond. Featuring a diverse instrumentation consisting of high pitched electric guitars, Chad’s smooth yet grunge vocal delivery, groovy synths, and robot-like drums, this one is so clearly a winner.
While this was our first dive into the music of Chad Tepper, we’ve quickly been won over in the matter of this song's 3 minute run time. We had no choice but to check back into his past discography, and to no surprise in the slightest, it hits just as hard. Comparing to his past tracks like “Butterfly” and “HEY HEY HEY”, there’s just something about this one that had all the feel good qualities we needed in a time like this.
So with this all being said, it’s officially the weekend, which means it’s time to kick back and relax with your new favorite song. So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this article and get listening, we promise you won’t regret it!
