Continuing on to revolve her world around music, Carolee Rainey has given us a glimpse into her upcoming record with a stellar single titled “Serendipity”. Please read on for a closer look into the track, in addition to a background on the artist.
Putting her own imaginative spin on a spectacular single she’s titled “Serendipity”, Carolee Rainey has really set the tone for her upcoming album, Synchronicity. Of the 10 songs that are slated to release, she’s put her vocals forward and truly highlighted herself as a masterful songwriter. The story forms itself on this newest single and is worth your time and effort to connect the dots, which is why we’re overwhelmingly recommending everyone out there to familiarize themselves with her music as soon as possible.
With previous experience working in A&R for Nashville-style country music, it honestly gives an interesting perspective into the creation of her own music. All day long listening to music and hearing what works and what doesn’t, Carolee has taken those notes and we can only imagine crafted the upcoming record around. Giving us a taste of what’s to come with “Serendipity”, she’s come forward with striking vocals, an inspired instrumentation, and tons of influences and inspirations that show themselves too. It’s sincere, slightly nostalgic in tone, but ultimately an original composition that was made using heartfelt elements.
Says Carolee on its background, “When I wrote ‘Serendipity’, I used nature as my inspiration. As a human race our behaviors have been so unpredictable these last many years that I used the sun, moon and rain as teachers to learn from to transcend my own inner weaknesses into strength”. It’s a lovely sentiment from the artist on getting to hear how things were formed, but it also sets up our perspective for what else is to come. Given it’s got that folksy tinge to it with plenty of acoustics in the instrumentation, we’re already patiently awaiting another teaser single, hopefully to come out soon.
