Following up the greatness that was her debut release EPisodes, Bryanna Rain has made her return with an all new project, Petrichor. Keep reading for a closer look into the record, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

After seeing major success with EPisodes released earlier this year in March 2022, thankfully Bryanna Rain has listened to the fans and followed up quickly with a new set of remixes, bonus tracks, and a lead single titled “Arcades, Aeroplanes”. After achieving number 3 on the iTunes charts in the Netherlands, plus a video that was shown on MTV and VICE, it’s no wonder she’s capitalizing on her major accolades so quickly. If this happens to be your introduction to the artist, get ready for a great time!

Serving as a companion release, what Petrichor does best is take those major hits and give them all a revitalization, one we truly didn’t know we needed until it was blasting in our headphones. Now while we’ve at this point had the opportunity to listen to both, one thing for us that was completely unexpected was just how lively and cohesive this album came to be. As soon as you hit the play button, you immediately get sucked into this electronic and richly produced world of sonic tones, moods, and atmospheres that hit like none other. Truly, although these songs are obviously split up by track, it flows like an endless mixtape or DJ set that’s jam packed with endless energy.

Clocking in at just a little under 40 minutes in length, their truly are so many standout moments that caught our ear. However a resounding and collective love from all of us were the unprecedented amount of trance and house vibes that come through from beginning to end. It certainly adds to that cohesion we spoke of, but further amplifies everything done correctly on EPisodes. If for some reason you haven’t had the opportunity to listen to the former, we’d encourage everyone out there to give both a listen, we can virtually guarantee that you’re going to fall in love either way.
