Brvdley Quinn shares his life experiences on debut, "Let Go of NYC"
Officially released on April 2nd, 2021, Brvdley Quinn has put forth his debut single, titled “Let Go of NYC”. Read along with us as we break down our thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist.
Based out of Long Island, New York, Bradley Quinn’s debut single “Let Go of NYC” is directly inspired by real life events that took place in his life five years ago. This acoustic pop track is a direct representation of the trials and tribulations of the artist’s life, delicately wrapped up in a catchy pop tune. We’re absolutely thrilled with it and think you will be too!
At just a tad under three minutes in total run time, you can only imagine that the track has a real focus on the lyrics. However, the instrumentation here that is driving the song is every bit as impressive as well. Mashing up separate genres such as pop, rock, and little bits of synth and electronic, Bradley Quinn’s gone above and beyond in terms of a breakout single.
We’ll let you know right now, but this is definitely a song that not only do we recommend, but are going to forewarn that it’s going to get stuck in your head. Since the moment it got sent our way, we’ve been hooked. If anything, it’s got us incredibly excited to see what else the artist can craft in the coming months and years. The real hope here is that it doesn’t take another five years of life experiences to churn out another song. Kidding, but also serious!
The roots have been set and the music is out there. Our pure assumptions here are that Bradley put his heart and soul into “Let Go of NYC” and we can audibly hear the love that went into it. As mentioned, instrumentally the song is complex enough that the background will keep you grooving away, but the standout by far were his vocals and delivery. He’s managed to quickly master the art of storytelling, but in a way that sounds warm when he’s singing. It’s a tough thing to do for sure, but he’s nailed it.
With all being said, we know we’ll be spinning “Let Go of NYC” for the foreseeable future, until another track comes our way at least. For now though, do yourselves a favor and get into this track, we promise you won’t regret it.
