Currently based out of Wollongong, Australia, Brooke Casey is an unbelievably talented singer and songwriter who has us impressed us nearly beyond words with her debut EP, Clarity. In our full interview with the artist, we dove deep into the origins of her processes, who has inspired her, and what we can expect moving forward. A truly outstanding conversation, don't miss out!
After graduating from University of Wollongong with her Bachelors in Creative Arts, majoring in music and minoring in marketing, Brooke Casey has been well on the way to creating something for all to rejoice and find comfort in. Coming in at 5 total tracks, spanning just a little over 20 minutes in run time, Clarity does a wondrous job into opening the door into Brooke’s life and laying it all out on the line for those who are willing to listen and make the connections.
As we discussed in our interview, this EP is like a journal or a diary that has come to life. Considering that Brooke has made music a focal point of her life, it’s records like these that are so effortless to dive into. Getting to know someone has never been easier and especially with a record like this that is essentially a tell all for one person’s personal stories and experiences. Getting to know Brooke a little bit while speaking with her was an absolute joy, and we recommend you watch of course, but the real priority is diving into her world she’s created on Clarity.
While things are currently locked down in Australia, time will only tell when she’ll be able to get out there on the road and potentially play these songs in a live setting. Our recommendation to you, and it should probably come as no surprise, is to learn everything there is to know about this album and artist. Hearing about her impeccable production team and close knit music community restored a little faith in our world.
