Staying as busy as ever in 2021, Broadtree have shared yet another piece of beauty that they’re calling “Breath of Fresh Air”. No surprises here, but we’re loving it! Read on for our full review of the track, in addition to a refresher on the band.

Made up of Armand Antony and Nicole McCalerty, Broadtree are a Canadian pop country duo that have continuously put out instantly loveable music. On their newest song “Breath of Fresh Air”, that fact stays as true as ever. Made up of meaningful lyrics, catchy instrumentation, and a whole lot of passion, we can’t help but overwhelmingly recommend everyone check out this song as soon as you possibly can.

In these wild times that everyone on Earth is currently experiencing, it feels like the last thing we all want is to be constantly reminded of it at all. That’s exactly where Broadtree has shined the brightest in our eyes. They’ve personified the pandemic and tell their tales on “Breath of Fresh Air”, which is really what we all need at the moment. Filled with mass amounts of joy and the optimism of new beginnings, you’ll find yourself smiling real wide by the end of your first listen.

We loved everything top to bottom about their record Feeling Bad. Feeling Better, which is why you can probably only imagine our sheer excitement when we found they had yet another song coming out. With such a consistent output this year, you’d think that maybe the quality would dip in some sense, however the complete opposite is happening. This duo keeps improving on every single front in terms of songwriting, instrumentation, and production that has not only kept us guessing, but on our toes for what might be coming next.

Truly, Broadtree is changing up the genre of country pop and we’re here for it. So much of the genre these days leans towards one side of the sound, but their expert blends are going to attract listeners from both sides in mass quantities. If for some reason this is your introduction to the band, we obviously recommend “Breath of Fresh Air”, however we implore the readers to go ahead and explore the rest of their discography as well, there’s plenty of gold to uncover.
