Expertly blending his unique brand of Rock, Blues, and Contemporary Pop, Brendan Lane has let loose yet another exhilarating song called “Fame Falls Away”. Touching on so many important genre influences and keeping things ultimately fresh and funky, it was only right that we sat down with the artist himself to get a closer look on what the song, and his music as a whole, is really about.
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, this singer and songwriter writes truthful tunes that pull from his personal life and experiences. What you can expect from your listen is a whole lot of innovation in sound, but at the same time a real sense of passion and love for music in general. Not to give too much away here because we’d obviously prefer you check out the interview for yourselves, but Brendan’s authenticity as a person is exactly what’s making his music reverberate such positivity. It can’t be stressed how much enjoyment came from getting to pick his brain all about his music that we’ve so quickly come to love.
On the song itself though, it really was a nice evolution of tone compared to his past works. The songwriting seemed to have gotten an upgrade, the instrumentation was a whole lot tighter, and you can feel and hear the fun everyone’s having while playing. Music isn’t always meant to be too serious and it’s songs like these that open up the world to a whole lot of good vibes.
