Bone Cult expertly fuse genres on memorable track, "Entropy"
Following 2020's massive album release titled Entropy, Bone Cult have reemerged with a stunning new single, “Entropy”. We are loving it! Please read on for our in-depth look at the track, as well as a background on this greatly talented project.
Fusing up a delicate blend of rock and electronic elements, the duo of Bone Cult have sincerely blown our minds (and ears) with this thriller of a single titled “Entropy”. Inspiring influence from some of the greats such as Daft Punk, Slipkot, and Enter Shikari, Bone Cult have certainly brought an immense amount of originality into the mix with everything they’ve put out so far. Plain and simple, you’re going to fall in love with them.
Seeing a ton of success so far and even touring throughout Europe, North America, and Asia, it’s legitimately a difficult task for us to try to pin down exactly what Bone Cult are doing. While “Entropy” absolutely took us by hold in the best way possible, it also expertly blurred the lines of rock and electronic. Without being facetious in the slightest, it’s like nothing we’ve ever heard or experienced before, which is why we’ve come to enjoy it so quickly. So often we receive the same sounding songs, but this has broken the mold completely.
At just a little over four minutes in run time, the duo immediately pulls the listener in with an outstanding production but keeps everyone guessing as to what’s going to come next. Featuring screaming guitar riffs, excellent electronic passages, and ultimately production techniques that could make mainstream artists jealous, this one is confidently a winner in our eyes. It’s actually a little bit difficult to even put into words what you’re going to expect, which is why we’ll just suggest you listen without any predispositions. Just know that you’re going to enjoy every single moment of it at all.
We’ll say it once and we’ll say it again, this is a group that we know we’ll be following as they continue to share music.
