Released via ECR Music Group, Blake Morgan has something completely catchy on his hands with the fresh release of “Baby I Would Want You”. Created for the wild times we live in, the artist has branded this as an “apocalyptic love song” that almost urges a sense of urgency should it all come to the end right now. While the song is lyrically powerful of course, he’s also lent his dynamic vocal range to the track that in turn has made it a quick favorite of ours. Without a doubt, we are highly recommending everyone out there give this a listen.
With a streak of other lovely singles that are solidifying Blake Morgan as a legitimate artist in the industry, so much of what we’ve loved about his music as a whole is his immense passion and ability to blur the lines of style. “Baby I Would Want You” does a spectacular job of showing off his strengths as a songwriter as well. Truly, as his new upcoming full length album Violent Delights gets prepared for its full release on 5/20/2022, every song has been an ideal sneak preview into a revolutionary sound.
At just a little over three minutes in run time, you’re hooked from the opening note and your ears perk up. Lyrically speaking, Blake breaks down the message quickly, and although it borders on being dark given the context, ultimately it gives the song a needed edge to the bright overtones. It feels like a rock song, but with glimmers of country and other musical elements, he’s capturing an audience on the entire spectrum of music which nowadays has become beyond difficult to do. We’re hyping this up of course, but it’s worthy of all the kind words, we really enjoyed this listen,
