This first release of the year is a song called “Boomerang” that effortlessly infuses a bouncy, jazzy, and certifiably feel good mood with silky smooth vocals attached. He definitely didn’t lack on the lyricism end either, which is exactly what the music video does a great job of depicting as well. Whatever you do, we promise you’re not going to want to miss this.
On the background of it all, Ben has done a stellar job in communicating an all too common problem in the dating scene at the moment. So he says, the “lyrics detail spontaneous flirtation between two people from opposite ends of a night club. It’s a poetic description of a modern hook-up scene that dilutes pure experiences with background noise”. Whether you’ve been hours into the club experience or just generally enjoying a normal concert, chances are you’ve encountered this situation. We honestly don’t want to spoil too much because the music video displays it best, but it’s one of the best visuals we’ve seen in terms of playing it all out for those two people that want to connect on any level whatsoever.
