Belz delivers an instantly anthemic single, "ARROGANT"
Delivering her first sensational single of the year, Belz has made a swift return with an immediately catchy track, “ARROGANT”. Please read on for a closer look, in addition to a much needed background on this artist.
At only 19 years old, Belz has already created a passion-filled discography that has no signs of building. For this singer and songwriter, the ultimate goal is to make people happy, get everyone up and dancing, and to create something that’s relatable for the masses. We confidently think she’s hit the mark on her latest song “ARROGANT”, mainly because all we wanted to do after listening was get up and groove it out. If this is your introduction to the artist’s music, you know what to do, go ahead and hit that play button.
Speaking directly to the lyrics, Belz has channeled her frustration through the themes here into something that’s anthemic. About midway through the listen, you can envision yourself at a show of hers belting out the lyrics right back. It has that stadium quality to it, meaning that it’s a song that’s just begging to be performed in front of a large audience. While we haven’t had the opportunity to see her perform yet, we can only imagine that Belz would bring the high energy for an unmissable and bombastic set.
Considering this is just her fourth single release thus far, of course we had to go back and sample some of her past. To no surprise in the slightest, there’s certainly some gems, but “ARROGANT” feels like the most highly produced and fully fleshed out piece of the pack. You can palpably hear her growing as an artist from song to song, making minor changes to improve herself, and consistently putting her dynamic vocals on the line to draw all the listeners in. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our multiple listens of the song and will undoubtedly be following along with whatever's next, which we hope comes sooner rather than later.
