For those somehow out of the loop, Barry Szeto is an incredibly talented performer currently based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. After recently releasing his newest single “Sorry Who Is This”, it was only right that we brought Barry on for an in-depth interview to get a true behind the scenes look on the track, a look towards the future, and so much more. Without a doubt, we can’t wait for everyone out there to give this a watch and a listen.
After covering a few of his works before, it’s really been nice to see first hand the revolution and refinement of Barry’s sound. One thing that we’ve found to be the constant is the always original and sincere deliveries he gives on the vocal front. You can feel the passion come through effortlessly through each line, but it’s in a way that’s differentiating him from the rest of the pack. You’ll notice quickly that this is clear and cut pop music, but there’s still an ingenuity that’s being brought to the table.
“Sorry Who Is This” actually has a really great story behind it in terms of the origins, but we’ll let Barry explain that firsthand once you check out the interview. The ultimate goal is for you to listen to his discography, however we always feel better when we get to know the personal things about the artist. The authenticity that he portrays in the music absolutely came through in person. You’ll find he was vulnerable in his answers and has certainly mapped out a plan for the rest of 2022. There’s plenty of musical gems to uncover that he’s let out over the past, but the future is looking quite bright for what we can expect to be released.
With all that being said, please go ahead and check out the important links below in order to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for everything else that he’s got on the way. Enjoy!
