Baby A.K. adds another hit to his discography with release of "TurnUpWitMe"

Released on November 23rd, 2020, Baby A.K. has added another fire track to his discography, “TurnUpWitMe”. Read along with us as we share our thoughts on the single, in addition to a short bio about the artist as well.
Born and raised in Mission, BC, Baby A.K started his music career quite young compared to the rest. While growing up with 6 brothers and a music teacher for a mom, being musically creative was coursing in his blood from the start. Baby A.K grew up watching his brothers in bands, and began his rap career at the age of 15. He has since learned how to record, mix and produce his own music, resulting in the release of multiple singles.
Baby A.K. prides his image on representing the castaways of society, and showing them how they can rise to the top; while he brings them along on his journey through musical therapy. Ever present within his lyrics and mood evoked on all of his music, the artist is certainly making a name for himself within his truly unique style that’s on display for all to hear.
On “TurnUpWitMe”, our first impressions were just how upset we were that the song was only a minute and a half, because we loved it and needed more! Filling the room with an original big deep and rumbling bass, Baby A.K.’s flow was as smooth as could possibly be on this track. From the start there were so many directions the song could have gone, but we’re thrilled the artist decided to go in the direction he did.
Comparing to the rest of the songs in his catalogue, this might just be his best. Although there isn’t a ton to critique here, the only real con is that it was too short. Another added verse would’ve been lovely, but beggars can’t be choosers. Honestly, we’re just happy the track even exists because now it’s possible to listen over and over without burning it out.
Considering this was our first foray into the music of Baby A.K., it is absolutely not going to be our last. Seeing as he’s so young in a hopefully long and successful career, we’re really looking forward to seeing what the artist can put out. If the quality is this high right now, imagine what it’ll be like 2-3 years down the road, we can’t wait! So with that being said, do yourself a favor and listen in!
