For those out of the loop on ævina, she’s currently a New York-based singer and songwriter that has a deep passion for the arts. Her music is truly meaningful and everything about her newest single “serendipity” is pure, original, and 100% worth your time to check out. Getting to speak with her was a total treat of course, but the real priority here is digging into her and her musicianship. We highly recommend you give this song the listen it deserves.
After graduating with her Sociology degree from NYU, ævina landed herself a job in construction management. Using her newfound income and free time to travel, the unfortunate thing happened and she was let go from the job as the pandemic hit. Looking to the positive though, she took this time to explore the literal attic full of original songs she had laying around and decided this was as good a time as ever to finish them up. Thankfully she did because the end result was glorious and thus “serendipity” was born.
She’s now got so much work (over 30 songs written) that are just waiting to get recorded and released into the world. If this newest song is any indication of the future, we can virtually guarantee that she’s got more gold on the way that’s just waiting to get out. Getting to speak with her and listen to her musical influences and inspirations just showed that not only do we have very similar styles, but it’s probably a driving factor as to why we’ve vibed with her music so much. Even putting the music aside for just a moment, she’s a real genuine person who’s got many moving stories to tell. We can’t wait!
