Already on a streak of successful singles, we caught up with Ann@lise ahead of her release for her latest track, “My Kinda Problem”! Check out our wonderful discussion with the artist below.

If the music of Ann@lise is something you’re being introduced to today for the first time, consider yourself in for a serious treat. Fresh off the release of her newest pop bop “My Kinda Problem, we sat with this emerging artist to talk all about the origins of the song, what’s on the horizon for the near future, and how exactly all of her music thus far comes together. This is a chat you’re not going to want to miss out on.

Currently based out of Quebec, Ann@lise has seen successes with everything she’s put out so far. Collaborating with producers and other artists like Elijah Woods, Kayla Diamond, and Trevor Klaiman, they’ve helped her elevate her sound into the pure beauty and bliss you’re going to experience today. Ann@lise noted that, “I wrote the song with Elijah Woods and we were both toxic in relationships we have been in. And we realized we were our own problems after going back to them even though they were really toxic. Therefore, My Kinda Problem was born. It’s an upbeat song with a funny, yet sad twist.”

Now while of course that’s a wonderful origin story of the song itself, getting to hear the full background during our interview was even more fulfilling. When songs actually have meaningful stories behind them as opposed to so much that is made up, you can really feel that passion and drive come through on the final product. Speaking on “My Kinda Problem”, it’s a total fact that the genuineness and message comes through clear.

With hit after hit coming at a rapid pace it feels like, Ann@lise isn’t slowing down anytime soon. As mentioned in our talk, there’s plenty more on the way, which is all the reason to stay tuned with what she’s got planned. Our recommendation here would be to give a listen as soon as you can, but also to dig into her other tracks to further familiarize yourselves. Plan and simple, you’re going to love it!
