On Angelic Circus’ 4th EP, and final of their quadrilogy, the band has completely struck gold on Open to the Future. We are loving it! Please read on for our full review of the record, as well as a background on these emerging artists.

Made up of Galit Aufgang (Vocals/Keyboards), Rami Moscovich (Computer/Guitar/Keyboards), and Eran Peres (Bass/Computer/Vocals), these three make up the Dream Pop trio of Angelic Circus. On their newest record Open to the Future, the band have crafted a meaningful story and ending after 3 other successful EP’s. While we do have some catching up to do in regards to the others, we can confidently state that the project is worth getting into and they’ve put together something truly lovely on EP 4.

Coming in at 4 total tracks, spanning nearly 14 dreamy minutes, this was an audible masterpiece in every sense of the word. What struck us immediately after our first full listen was just how immersive and cohesive Open to the Future really was. Angelic Circus immediately sucks you into an unfamiliar world that boasts experimental qualities and a top tier production, but at the same time, welcomes you with open arms into a story that you want to catch up on. While it certainly falls under the Dream Pop genre, we found it touched on many other important genres that only added depth and complexities too.

As mentioned, this was our introduction to the band as a whole, but they’ve collectively left our jaws on the floor. Opening it up with the instrumental “Quiet” made us feel a bit uneasy as we didn’t quite know what to expect, but a certain calming wave came across as “Hope to the Future” began. After that, they lulled us into a dreamlike state where all we really wanted was for the record to never end. We know for the absolute fact that we’ll be embarking on EP’s 1, 2, and 3 immediately as a means to catch up and get the entire lyrical message and story. We suggest you do the same.

Without giving too much else away, let us point you in the right direction to the links below where you can listen and follow along for all things Angelic Circus. Don’t miss out on a band that’s really doing something special here!
