Currently based out of Philadelphia, Andrew Moorer is a singer, songwriter, and unbelievably talented musician who is now 2 for 2 on recently released singles. Taking influence from notable artists such as Bruno Mars, Elton John, Charlie Puth, and The Beatles, he is certainly taking the best parts of those talents and injecting his own mixture of uniquity into the mix.

Having spent a majority of his career performing acoustic covers in bars, clubs, weddings, and more, he’s finally taken the plunge into releasing originals of his own. Let us make it clear right now, we’re incredibly happy he has, because “Good Ol’ Days” is just the right type of pep we needed in our lives at this very moment.

On this single specifically, Moorer has managed to turn us into mega fans in just the four minute run time that the song holds. Featuring a killer guitar opening, a fantastic production, and his commanding vocals that steal the spotlight, we’re confident that any type of music lover could find themselves following his career after just this one song.

Like so many artists nowadays who have mastered the art of creating a song using the many different types of softwares that exist, the problem becomes that they don’t have the personal touch or talent to back it up. Not to put down the artists trying their best, but sometimes you just notice a spark within an artist that lets you know they’ve got what it takes. Whether it be the effort you can physically hear in the song or just an unknown factor, we feel that Andrew has what it takes.

Now we don’t want to give away too much, because we’d obviously prefer you listen for yourselves, but any passive listener of music is going to love this. If you swing more towards the rock genre or even more poppy, he’s got you covered. Realistically though, you should be listening for his vocals, they’re the real star of the show. However, we will also say the ending took us for a loop and wrapped things up quite nicely.

If it’s not abundantly clear by now, we’re Andrew Moorer fans, and we think you will be too. Give “Good Ol’ Days” a listen and make sure to follow along with whatever else he’s up to by clicking on the links below. Enjoy!
