Amanda Marie Wilkinson delivers an upbeat vibe on "The Way You Move Me"
It’s always a great day when a new Amanda Marie Wilkinson track makes it into the world. To no surprise again, she’s done it on her latest “The Way You Move Me”. Please read on for our analysis of the single, as well as a refresher on the emerging artist.
After each release from Amanda Marie Wilkinson, she continues to refine and evolutionize her sound into bigger and grander scores. On her newest single “The Way You Move Me”, the artist has managed to once again center the song around her always unique vocals, but keep a true vibe ringing in order to attract all the new listeners. Plain and simple, we love it, and we can’t wait for you all to give a listen.
At just a little under three minutes in complete length, it’s truly unbelievable the amount of passion and emotion that’s been directly injected into one song. Considering all of the songs that we’ve covered from Amanda in the past like “Nothing To Lose (When You Say Goodbye)” or “Taking My Time”, they’ve leaned a little more towards the slower ballad type of song. However on this song we thoroughly enjoyed the upbeat instrumentation and emphasis on the drum patterns that came in. It provided a little more of a lively listen and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t dancing along in the process.
In typical Amanda Marie Wilkinson fashion though, as lively or intoxicating as the background is, the emphasis always circles back to the lyrics and the message that she’s conveying. Up front, up close, and always personal in her execution, she speaks and tells stories directly from the heart that tend to give you a closer look at the talented musician behind the song. So much of being an artist in general is being vulnerable to strangers and we confidently feel that that’s a massive strength of Amanda. Her stories are out there for all who are willing to give a listen and connect.
As always though, we’ll continue to support her and whichever direction she chooses to go in because we know no matter what, it’s going to be a quality listen. If this is your introduction to the artist, you’re lucky, because there’s so much to dig through at this point and discover in her discography.
