Adam Warner shares vulnerable single & video for "Split A Beer"
Deeply personal and emotional from beginning to end, Adam Warner has just shared an outstanding single and video for “Split A Beer”. We are loving this one! Read on as we take a closer look into the track, as well as a background on this artist.
Virtually guaranteed to flood you with intense feelings of longing and nostalgia, everything about Adam Warner’s newest single “Split A Beer” is pure beauty. From his deeply warm vocals to the message behind it all, wrapping it up with a visual accompaniment (linked below), it’s hard not to thoroughly enjoy everything about this release. Needless to say, it’s something we’re urging everyone out there to give their time to as soon as possible.
On the background of this song, Adam claims it was “inspired by his late grandfather Fred, who he wishes he could split one more beer with”. On the surface level, we’ve essentially translated it not to it downright meaning it could only be a drink, rather to cherish those fleeting moments and to add time when it doesn’t exist. Sharing anything, rather it be food, drinks, or experiences is a pastime with family, and we should truly enjoy the moments we have before it’s too late. Not to spoil much in the music video as well, but it’s honestly such a vulnerable display, highlighting family members of his and user-submitted clips, giving you an insight into the talented artist’s personal life. In all honesty, it’s easily one of the more raw and sincere songs we’ve heard all year long.
Putting the message aside for just a moment, every facet of this song pops in such a memorable way too. As mentioned, Adam comes in with his signature vocals that immediately set the tone and mood, at the same time paired with a minor key instrumentation that seriously flourishes as it does its thing in the background. All moments of “Split A Beer” are genuine and fresh, and while it’s got that lovely country essence to it all, by far the highlight was connecting the dots through his words. If anything, it’s serving as the best introduction to the rest of his stellar music.
