Monad, also known as Tel Aviv-based artist and producer, Eshchar Nachmany, has released an absolutely stunning music video for their track, “September”. Fresh off the release of his sophomore EP, Dissolution, it was only fitting that a thought provoking music video be dropped to really bring the song to life.

According to Esh, “The music video for 'September' was born out of necessity”. The story on how the music video actually came about is a story in its own. Due to COVID-19’s presence at the beginning of March, Esh’s plans to create the video in Tel Aviv, Israel were squashed fairly quickly. After seeing the works of the women featured in the video, a collaboration was born. The dancing is emotional, the vibe is mature, and the song itself is the perfect fit for the overall feel that the video gives off.

Now let’s talk about the music! At this point in the article, I hope that you’ve paused your reading and watched the aforementioned video, just so the rest will make sense. The song itself was one of the lead singles on Monad’s sophomore EP, Dissolution. Released at the end of January 2020, Dissolution is a 4 song stunner of an EP that takes you in by force and doesn’t overstay his welcome. For those who love original instrumentation, a dose of psychedelia, and an intriguing yet smooth voice, Dissolution is for you.

Going back to the origins of Monad, Esh built his first musical project in an isolated house in the Moshav, Israel. The studio was built from scratch, remodelling broken tape machines and synths to construct layers of dreamy soundscapes. To record the second EP, Esh returned to nature by renting a small cabin not too far from the sea to set up a home base for recording.

If we haven’t made it clear in this article, as happy as we were to see a video come to life for “September”, we’re even happier to have the opportunity to write about this project. Give it a chance, watch the video, and listen to the music. We can promise you won’t regret it!
