After taking a well deserved break from releasing back to back albums in 2019 and 2020 with Weather and Simulcast (Simulcast is a vocalless expanded version of Weather) Tycho is back!! The chillest electronic artist playing every festival his on at Northern California’s Tycho, aka Scott Hansen aka ISO50 blessed this city of Los Angeles during the craziest heatwave I’ve ever been apart of with three intimate nights vibing out to some of the chillest downtempo ambient IDM music ever.

Hansen and his longtime collaborators took the stage of the legendary Roxy drenched in light from their projector. Covered in beautiful warm tones. Images of normal views of life distorted by zooming in on them or slowing them down to the point of unnaturalness. Over the course of the two hour show little was said to the excited crowd other than thank yous the band decided to fill that time with as much music from pretty much all of their albums, except their first one, as possible.

The music pulls you towards it like a mermaid but instead of drowning you that mermaid hands you a warm blanket and a beach chair. The vibes were immaculate and the perfect way to distract yourself from the burn of global warming. Go cool off with Tycho at a venue near you!
