Even though Ruel was thousands of miles away from his home, the crowd at Terminal 5 on Friday night certainly felt like a hometown crowd. Screaming fans that knew every word to every song filled all three levels of Terminal 5 in New York, playing a mixture of covers and original songs (including a crowd pleasing One Direction cover) and playing multiple instruments. So please, take a moment and read our entire review of the show below, as well as a wonderful photo gallery attached too.

Ruel can definitely do it all. Starting off with GO ON WITHOUT ME, Ruel played hits from his most recent album, 4TH WALL, in addition to previous releases. The highlight of the night was when the disco ball lit up the space during IF AND/OR WHEN - there is just something indescribable about a disco ball in NYC on a Friday night. Ruel owned the stage and captivated the crowd playing songs like Painkiller, MUST BE NICE and his collaboration with SG Lewis, Flames.

Before the encore, the ending credits rolled where Ruel thanked everyone involved in the creation of the show and the album. This was a great way to thank the unsung heroes of the night and the album! Ruel ended the night with an explosive rendition of I DON’T WANNA BE LIKE YOU. New Yorkers know Terminal 5 is not the easiest venue to get to, but to see Ruel on a Friday night it was definitely worth the trek!

Ruel will be continuing along on the 4TH WALL Tour in the US until early July and then takes the show to Europe after that - plenty of options to catch a show on this tour! We highly recommend you take a moment out of your day to take a closer look into his music as it speaks for itself, but seriously speaking, it’s a show not worth missing. Our photos below prove that first hand, so please scroll through, and make sure to follow Ruel on his social media in order to stay tuned for plenty more in the works. Enjoy!
