Nightly Brings the Noise to New York City's Racket

Nightly kicked off their first of two NYC shows at Racket last week. With opening acts Young Rising Sons and Knox, it was an unmissable night of pop music. Living up to the name of their tour, Nightly played 13 out of 14 songs from their Wear Your Heart Out album that was released in August of this year.

Sticking with the Wear Your Heart Out theme, Nightly started out the show with their upbeat song of the same name. The band kept the energy high, soaring through songs like Shirt, On Your Sleeve and The Feeling. The crowd screamed all of the words to all of the songs, upbeat and sentimental alike. Knox came back out to join Nightly for their song together Miss When You Missed Me.

After receiving outrage on twitter from changing their setlist at the previous show - they gave the crowd a choice between Dry Eyes and Navy Blue - the crowd chose Dry Eyes. It's not often you see the drummer come out from behind the drum set, but drummer Nick Sainato got the stage to himself to sing Whisky pt 2 (and play guitar!). Nightly closed out the show with Like I Do and ‘night, love you’ projected on their screen.

Nightly is finished out their tour in Charlotte, Atlanta and Nashville this week so you still have an opportunity to see them live in concert! Additionally, we’ve included our full photo gallery below that recaps the night. It’s worth checking out and of course to grab a ticket to any of these upcoming dates, it’ll 100% be worth your while. Enjoy!
