Making their way to Los Angeles, more specifically the US for the first time in 5 long years, Everything Everything surpassed all of our wildest expectations this last week at The Teragram Ballroom. Thankfully we were there to witness the greatness, so please read on for our full review and check out our photo gallery below as well.

If you happen to be out of the loop and are unfamiliar with the music of Everything Everything, you’ve made it to the right article. For us, they’ve been one of the most explorative and awe-inspiring bands we’ve discovered in quite some time. Celebrating the release of their record Raw Data Feel earlier in 2022, set to be near the top on our Album of the Year list, it’s been on constant repeat since the day it was released. Furthermore we got the opportunity to interview frontman Jonathan Higgs earlier this year to hear all the details.

As for the show, well it’s probably not going to come as a surprise to say that we loved every moment. The Teragram Ballroom is easily one of our favorite venues in all of Los Angeles, due to the intimate atmosphere and fantastic sound it provides. With a band like this that focuses so heavily on exotic production, let alone euphoric vocals song after song, you need a place like this for things to really pop. During their near hour and a half set, they played some of our favorites off of records like Get to Heaven and A Fever Dream. Last time we saw them in Glasgow, Scotland, we were hoping they’d play “Night of the Long Knives”, and to our joy, they played it here and it was everything we could have ever hoped for.

We could go on and on about how amazing their show was, the lights, theatrics, and beyond, but something worth mentioning was the emanating energy of the crowd that had been patiently waiting to see this band for such a long time. Being connected in the LA music scene, that sentiment continues to be true as people discussed waiting for this band to finally announce dates. While their tour in the US is over, we sincerely hope they make their way back soon enough. If not, we might have to fly out to the UK to get more of our Everything Everything fix.
