Last week in Philadelphia, COIN was back at the Fillmore and better than ever. Over the span of their one hour 30 minute set, COIN delivered hits from all of their albums and EP. Fresh off of the release of their new album, “I’m Not Afraid of Music Anymore”, they definitely proved they’re not afraid of live shows anymore either!

Kicking off the show the same way they kicked off their album, COIN started with ‘It’s Hard to Care About Everything’ and lead the concert goers through the journey of their discography. Fan favorite classics like ‘Run’ and ‘Malibu 1992’ were mixed in with cuts from their most recent album like ‘Problem’ and ‘Along for the Ride’. The highlight of the night was when the chorus of ‘Youuu’ kicked in and the glitter of the disco ball filled the 2,500 venue. To keep things interesting from show to show, COIN plays a surprise song thats different each show. Philly was lucky enough to get Sagittarius Superstar, but unfortunately no surprise appearance from Faye Webster.

With their anthemic songs created for stadiums and their charismatic on stage presence, COIN made the Fillmore feel like an intimate venue and all attendees knew they were in the presence of greatness. COIN’s tour is continuing through early November and part 2 is running February through March 2025 - there are plenty of opportunities to catch them on tour and this is definitely not one to be missed.
